Three Days, Four Panels, One Amazing Event

On May 30, 2018 at the Kimpton Hotel Eventi in Chelsea (shown above), the heart of New York City’s art world, join attendees and 40 Under 40 honorees for Incisal Edge’s Next Gen Summit, featuring Forbes Chief Content Officer Randall Lane as keynote speaker.

All members of the dental profession are invited to join this one-of-a-kind opportunity to connect with the top 40 dentists in the country.

Incisal Edge, the leading lifestyle magazine for dental professionals nationwide, will honor America’s finest young practitioners during the three-day event hosted by Benco Dental this spring in New York City.

  • In Panel II, attendees will learn about new technology being used in practices and the difference it makes in the customer experience. Speakers will explain how investing through technology can lead to growing a practice financially and continued patient satisfaction. Below are Panel II speakers:

Dr. Sabiha Bunek is CEO and Editor-in-Chief of The Dental Advisor. She maintains a private practice in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and lectures on topics related to adhesives, ceramics, cementation, and CAD/CAM.

  • In Panel III, former Edison Awards™ nominees and winners discuss how their inventions are currently helping patients and consumers. The panel highlights: how listening to patients results in innovation, how developing innovative products/services for patients can turn into a business, and the reasoning why disruption drives dentistry forward. Dr. Paul Zhivago is a 2017 Edison Awards nominee whose Open Platform Workflow system uses film-making technology to vastly improve the quality of digital impressions of patients’ mouths.

Dr. Alene D’Alesio is a 2016 Gold Edison Awards Winner for the Lily Method Pacifier Weaning System. She is the Program Director for the Pediatric Dentistry Residency Program at the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh.

  • Last but not least, Panel IV features three experts who successfully brand their practices using marketing and social media. They’ll share tips and tricks on how others can achieve similar results. Below are Panel IV speakers:

Dr. Mark Broomhead is a Chicago native and former investment banker who owns and operates a dental implant center where he places over 75 implants per week. Dr. Thomas McCue launched into private practice in 2010 with a fun and fabulous approach to dentistry. He now owns and operates six offices in upstate New York.

Kay Huff is Benco Dental’s Director of Dental Coaching. She has 25 years of experience in building strong teams and business systems, developing leadership, and bolstering profitability.

In addition to the 12 professionals speaking from the dental world, the Next Gen Summit will feature keynote speaker Randall Lane, the Chief Content Officer for Forbes Media. Prior to that, he co-founded and served as Editor-in-Chief of a half dozen magazines and related websites, including P.O.V, Trader Monthly and Dealmaker. He sits on the boards of directors of Global Citizen and Just Capital, chairs the advisory board of Last Mile Health, and also serves on the Board of Overseers of Columbia’s School of Professional Studies.

  • Wednesday, May 30 – Be on the set and go behind the scenes of the exclusive, high-fashion photo shoot for the 2018 40 Under 40 honorees. All are welcome to meet and greet the dentists. A cocktail party will follow afterward from 6-8 p.m.
  • Thursday, May 31 – Continuing Education panels take place along with a photo shoot for the 2018 honorees.
