Seeking the newest innovations in implant therapy? ICOI events at Columbia await. #ie40Under40

They don’t call them America’s Best Young Dentists for no reason.

Dr. Paul Zhivago, one of the 2017 Incisal Edge 40 Under 40, offers a shining example of how honorees are setting new benchmarks for outstanding dentistry.

Dr. Zhivago will help launch the 8th Annual Columbia University/ International Congress of Oral Implantologists next week, when he joins eight other dental experts as a presenter during the event’s Tarnow Alumni Day on Thursday, December 7.

After emigrating to the U.S. from Germany, Dr. Zhivago – who graced the cover of Incisal Edge’s Fall 2017 issue – studied dentistry at both NYU and Columbia. As a clinical assistant professor in the prosthodontics department at NYU Dental, he leads a course in digital dentistry and directs the curriculum for postgraduate prosthodontics.

In an interview with the dental lifestyle magazine earlier this year, Dr. Zhivago said:

“The person cannot be replaced. We live in an increasingly digitized world, but there is no program or software able to match the care that is provided by one person to another.”

Columbia University School of Dental Medicine and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists will continue the two-day educational program with a Dental Implant Symposium, Newest Innovations in Implant Therapy on Friday, December 8, at Alfred Lerner Hall, Columbia University, Morningside Campus, 2920 Broadway (at 115th Street), New York City.
