Last time we checked it’s still Nov. 1. (Still time to celebrate #NatlBrushDay!)

Did you know?

  • Tooth decay is five times more common than asthma in young kids?
  • Almost 20% of kids between 2 and 19 have cavities that haven’t been treated.

  • Dental problems can affect the self-esteem of children, making them reluctant to smile or engage in conversation.
  • Poor dental care can result in poor nutrition and sleep problems for children.

Help brush away plaque on National Brush Day®, which began in 2013 as an extension of the Kids’ Healthy Mouths public service advertising (PSA) campaign by The Partnership for Healthy Mouths, Healthy Lives.

The coalition of more than 35 leading oral health organizations and the Ad Council launched the campaign in August 2012.  National Brush Day is designed to remind and encourage parents to get their kids brushing their teeth for just two minutes, twice a day #2min2x .
