How does Bates-Andrews Day offer a unique perspective at Tufts?

Faculty mentorship, student research and peer engagement elevate the energy level at Tufts School of Dental Medicine each year.

A sense of community greets visitors as they enter the Robert D. Buchanan D46 Lobby and follows them  up to the 14th and 15th floors, where today 65 student poster presentations showcase predoctoral and postgraduate students’ research activities.

Returning this year is the Bring Your Own Device Peer Engagement activity in which visitors can give student posters feedback directly using a smartphone, tablet or laptop.

Commercial exhibitors followed suit with interactive product displays and even interactive social media opportunities, like the fun photo ops with Tufts alumni and Incisal Edge #40 Under 40 honorees:

* Daniel K. Coleman, DMD, MS, Rhode Island Periodontics, Providence, Rhode Island,

Jenna Khoury DMD, The Brush Stop Pediatric Dentistry, Carlsbad, California

* Pamela Maragliano-Muniz, DMD, Salem Dental Arts, Salem, Massachusetts,

* Hitesh Tolani, DMD,  Virtudent, Boston, Massachusetts
